Requirements

Strong software engineering fundamentals
Experience developing software applications utilizing a high-level language such as Python, Java, C#, or C++
Good understanding or interest in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Oncology, or related field
Ability to work in a Linux environment
Normally require Bachelor with 2 years of applicable experience
Be curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
Proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships
Good verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills
(Preferred) Experience in designing or architecting automated verification framework and tests
(Preferred) Experience with CI/CD and related tools
(Preferred) Experience with cloud technologies

Responsibilities

Work independently in cross-functional teams to lead the testing effort for data analysis software
Design and implement automated software verification framework and scripts
Work with bioinformatics scientists for data analysis, trouble shooting, and bioinformatics tool development
Participate in Code and Design Reviews
Ensure Software Development Life Cycle procedures are followed
Collaborate with peers to identify opportunities for process improvements
