Requirements

Necessary Revit experience
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, and Navisworks
Associates degree in Computer drafting or construction management (preferred)
Field experience in construction trade (preferred; electrical construction experience a plus)
Good communication skills and ability to represent the company in meetings
Thorough understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, 3D design, and construction processes
Clean driving record required for occasional site visits
Subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Create, edit, and coordinate 3D models using Revit in accordance with Owen Electric standards
Create conduit, equipment, supports, and other electrical system component families
Create 2D Fabrication drawings and 2D Shop Drawings for Field Installation
Assist project management in the RFI, Submittal, and Procurement processes
Produce material schedules for procurement using Revit and Navisworks
Create & save viewpoints and perform clash detection
Communicate with field personnel and MEP Trade Team members
Demonstrate organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Problem solving and strong sense of urgency
Ability to read and understand contract design documents, submittals, and engineer drawings
Maintain close communication with the BIM Manager, Field Leaders, designers, owners, and subcontractors
Willingness to travel to local job sites for occasional meetings
