Knowledge of Consumer and Business Banking AML, BSA, and KYC processes

Responsibilities

Educate customers and explain features and benefits of Consumer and Business Banking solutions; make recommendations based on customer needs
Engage customers in various ways, provide solutions, and encourage use of digital capabilities
Explain high-level criteria for loan application decisions
Complete servicing-related responsibilities for Consumer and Business Banking customers and identify opportunities for other needs
Follow the Bank’s sales process and provide simplified, customer-focused advice
Proactively reach out to customers to support retention and expansion of relationships
Adhere to customer service standards and deliver differentiated experiences
Actively engage in lobby management, greet customers, inquire about needs, and take ownership to solve them
Introduce appropriate banking partners for product solutions
Assist with AML, BSA, and KYC processes; identify and escalate suspected fraud
Resolve and log customer complaints accurately
Review, approve, and resolve customer overdrafts
Accurately complete customer transactions and related operational activities, including documenting interactions
Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls and policies
Promote an environment supporting belonging and reflecting the M&T Bank brand
Maintain internal control standards, including audit and regulatory issues
Hold customer appointments (scheduled or walk-in) to identify needs and refer complex cases
Support daily branch operations as a Teller
Complete other related duties as assigned
