Candidates must possess an unrestricted medical license and be board certified in a relevant specialty, such as Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Endocrinology. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is required, along with a deep interest in the science behind Virta's approach to diabetes reversal. Experience in diabetes management and telemedicine is preferred, and outstanding bedside manner and patient service orientation are essential. Multiple state licenses and living in an IMLC state are desirable but not mandatory.
The Bilingual/Spanish Continuity Clinician will provide high-quality patient-centered care and manage a panel of patients through continuous remote care. They will collaborate with a team of expert health coaches, ensure proactive follow-up of patients, and share after-hours coverage with the team. The clinician will actively participate in the development of new technology and protocols to enhance patient care and outcomes, supervise NP team members, and contribute to the overall quality of care.
