PolicyMe is a modernizing insurance startup seeking a motivated Licensed Life Insurance Advisor to join our team. This role involves educating customers on their insurance needs, handling complex cases, and guiding them through various products via phone, SMS, and email. Requirements

  • Licensing: Licensed Life and Accident & Sickness insurance agent with a valid LLQP license.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism in French and English is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in the insurance or related industry.
  • Sales Mindset: Proven track record of top performance and exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to dissect and communicate complex concepts clearly to customers.
  • Teamwork: Desire to work collaboratively and provide actionable feedback.
  • Empathy: Strong empathy, particularly when discussing health conditions or financial situations.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to take ambiguity from customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers via phone.
  • Address customer questions regarding insurance needs, products (Life, Health and Dental, CI), and the insurance process.
  • Practice consultative sales techniques to ensure customers receive appropriate products.
  • Work closely with sales teammates and team leads to solve complex client problems.
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound applicants in Hubspot.
  • Become a life, critical illness and health & dental insurance product guru through training.
  • Provide consistent 1:1 coaching, ongoing learning, and mentorship opportunities.
