Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D., and be bilingual in Spanish, which is preferred. They should also obtain and maintain a valid insurance adjuster’s license as needed based on location and claim assignment for states that require a staff adjuster to be licensed. Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook are essential, and experience in non-standard auto claims is considered a plus.
As an Express Claims Adjuster, the individual will investigate and resolve first and third party auto physical damage claims in a fast-paced setting by attempting immediate contact to confirm/review coverage. They will be responsible for the intake, investigation, valuation, establishment of exposure and settlement of assigned claims, ensuring timely and accurate reserving of exposures, and delivering the Best in Class Customer Service experience. The role also involves taking statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses to investigate losses, and adhering to policy provisions and damages presented.
