Requirements

Barista experience required
Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Ability to work specified hours, including day, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed (minimum 36 hours per quarter)

Responsibilities

Prepare hot and cold beverages to standards set by Food and Nutrition Services
Prepare and cook foods for the retail area
Assist with catering and Doctor's Lounge
Meet standards for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency
Deliver all products according to the specific schedule
Make recommendations to Food and Nutrition Services for all menus
Complete daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards
Deliver excellent customer service using appropriate scripts
Perform accurate cash handling and reconciliation of change due to customers
