Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
Full proficiency in executing operational functions of the bakery department, including preparing, baking, and merchandising bakery items to company standards
Ability to demonstrate inclusive behavior, make ethical choices, and approach work with a positive and solution-oriented mindset
Knowledge of GOLD Member Standards and key service behaviors (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate; Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean; Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank)
Responsibilities
Oversee bakery production and operational standards within the bakery department
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintain product quality and freshness
Optimize inventory management, including monitoring levels and executing timely replenishment to maintain in-stock conditions
Lead bakery department operations, ensuring efficient production and high-quality prepared foods
Demonstrate full proficiency in preparing, baking, and merchandising bakery items to company standards
Ensure accurate item labeling for all bakery products
Foster open communication, trust, and a positive work environment; acknowledge team contributions
Engage with members friendly and helpfully, apply service standards, address questions/concerns promptly, and escalate issues as needed
Maintain club standards, contribute to club goals, perform tasks accurately/consistently, and support financial performance through cost discipline and efficient execution
