Requirements
- Ability to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment
- Knowledge of bakery production charts for production, display, and preparation needs
- Understanding of safe handling, storage, food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
- Capacity to maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Ability to carry out job functions, support club policies, procedures, and compliance

Responsibilities
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens/equipment and production charts
- Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods (cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, etc.)
- Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts based on production charts
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following proper food safety, freshness, and handling procedures
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Maintain all cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department
- Deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, ensure safe/positive environment, and commit to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)
- Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, clean/organized)
