Responsibilities
Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
Answer member calls and take special orders
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions and using bakery production charts
Gather products for next business day preparation
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department
Carry out job functions as assigned, support flawless execution, ensure safe and positive environment, and deliver service excellence (GAA, GOLD standards)
Access and read production/financial performance reporting for the department
