Responsibilities
Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
Answer member calls and take special orders
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information and using bakery production charts
Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following proper food safety, freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
Carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies, ensure safe and positive environment, and deliver service excellence
Work to achieve GOLD club standards daily, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
