Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in Backups and Storage technology analysis
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A continuous learner who stays abreast of industry trends and technology
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, such as: Backups (Commvault, TSM, Veeam, DPM, HPE MSL); Storage (Huawei, ECS Dell)
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days on-site in the Lisbon Metro area)
  • Availability to participate in standby services (24x7) on a rotation basis with other team members

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support in Backups and Storage Services, responding to complex issues and inquiries
  • Assist in the implementation of Backups and Storage projects and initiatives, executing assigned tasks
  • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot Backups and Storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with the team to improve infrastructure efficiency and resolve technical challenges
  • Participate in the development of documentation, including incident reports and configuration details
  • Apply deep technical knowledge to address complex infrastructure-related problems
  • Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery
  • Apply critical thinking and technical skills to find solutions to Backups and Storage issues
