Requirements
- Must have:
- Strong experience in prompt engineering best practices across models
- Familiarity with engineering production AI systems using client/server architectures and relational databases
- Ability to build reliable, scalable services that connect AI models with user-facing products
- Comfort balancing rapid experimentation with engineering rigor in production systems
- Nice to have:
- Experience building AI agent applications and ability to adapt quickly to proprietary models
- Knowledge of modern AI techniques and their pitfalls (e.g. RAG, prompt caching, context truncation, jailbreaking, CoT, etc)
- Exposure to observability, evaluation, or safety systems for AI applications
- Background in full-stack or frontend work to accelerate product development
