Requirements

Min 5 years of experience in a role as Java Backend Engineer
Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar/related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Microservices, and extensive experience with integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration)
Demonstrable work experience with REST APIs, Microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and test automation
Passionate about embracing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and IntelliJ (AI)
Craftsperson mindset: cares about maintainable, secure, and resilient software, with an engineering approach to challenges
Expert knowledge of enterprise software architectures and web technologies
Affinity with technical topics, eager to learn, and a team player

Responsibilities

Take the lead in the development of software, focusing on functional and non-functional aspects, and be responsible for the end deliverables of your squad
Work in the Managed Services team to ensure enterprise customers receive best-in-class application quality and deliver with operational excellence
Implement end-user facing web applications using a modern, responsive stack and tooling
Work closely with the engineering manager, developers, and QA engineers
Contribute to requirements analysis and ensure the customer’s high-quality demands are met
