Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028
  • Strong academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field
  • Hands-on engineering experience in university programs or courses in the areas of control systems, radar-based perception, signal processing, sensor fusion, and/or path planning
  • Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and Python
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Help design, implement, and test algorithms for Airborne Traffic Detection, Detect And Avoid (DAA) Alerting and Directive Guidance, Automatic Return to Course and Forward Looking Terrain Avoidance using Model-based design (MBD)
  • Take part in developing, testing, and integrating critical software and simulation pipelines that contribute to the robust safety case for autonomous flight
  • Help support problem solving activities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of conflict detection and resolution algorithms and simulation environments
