Requirements

  • Post-secondary engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics
  • 1-2 years’ experience in programming, mechanical and/or electrical problem-solving skills
  • Valid Canadian passport to travel across borders
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotating schedule

Responsibilities

  • Commission machines through the full production cycle, including system integration, Pre-FAT, FAT, and Pre-Shipping at the facility in Vancouver for one product line
  • Travel to customer sites to perform SAT, Training, Qualification, and Service support as necessary (up to 30% of the time for one product line)
  • Provide support to Cytiva engineers, technicians, and customers in the office or remotely in the field by troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical & Software issues on products
  • Relying on previous team experience, established procedures, documentation, and vendor assistance, contribute to building team knowledge
  • Support and be part of an on-call rotating schedule to assist customers
