Requirements
Candidates should have 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC/HMI experience, with experience in control circuit design/troubleshooting, electro-mechanical experience, and VFD knowledge. An Electrical Engineering Degree, Autocad or Autocad Electrical experience, motor and PLC control panel design, product specification and BOM generation, Ethernet networking knowledge, Excel proficiency, and experience with database development, queries, Java, Python, or scripting are preferred.
Responsibilities
The Automation Engineer will take ownership of automation projects from development to customer satisfaction, working with sales and customers to design automation ranging from basic OEM equipment control to SCADA systems. Responsibilities include PLC programming, HMI design, onsite and remote equipment start-up (up to 30% travel), ancillary equipment programming and integration, and project documentation.
