This role involves recording high-quality interviews and creating audio segments of various lengths for multiple platforms. The ideal candidate possesses strong audio recording, editing, and production skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Record interviews remotely with host Emily Silverman and guests (approximately twice per month).
  • Each interview session lasts approximately 75-90 minutes, including setup, sound check, recording, and sign-off.
  • Mix, edit, and export high-quality audio content for online publication and distribution.
  • Edit and process raw audio files to remove noise, adjust levels, and enhance sound clarity.
  • Create an average of 5-6 audio segments per interview, including:
    • One long-form, podcast-style audio file (approx. 45 minutes).
    • Two interview-style audio files for Remo Learn (approx. 10-20 minutes each).
    • Three short, social-media length audio clips (approx. 1-3 minutes each).
  • Organize and manage audio files, preferably using Google Drive.
  • Ensure all audio content meets technical specifications and quality standards for platforms like Remo Learn, Spotify, and YouTube.
  • Remotely troubleshoot audio equipment issues before and during interviews.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in audio recording and editing software.
  • Ability to work on a part-time or as-needed basis.
  • Strong understanding of audio equipment and common technical issues during recording.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the Remo Marketing and Content team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of different audio formats, codecs, and various recording/content-hosting platforms.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues with guests remotely.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Healthcare or Health-tech industry experience is a plus.

Employment Details

  • This is a part-time 1099 Contract position.
