Responsibilities

  • Monitor Selene’s attorney network to ensure attorney firms complete foreclosure activities accurately and timely according to Selene, investor/insurer, state, and regulatory guidelines while minimizing financial losses
  • Ensure timely processing of activities and responsiveness of alerts to ensure attorney firms manage files according to Selene’s directives
  • Minimize losses through management of Attorney Firms and third-party vendors to ensure foreclosure processes progress consistently
  • Handle special projects and reporting required by investors
  • Identify compliance issues as they arise and provide appropriate feedback to Attorney Firms and Selene Management
  • Respond to routine inquiries from clients and attorneys
  • Provide support and high service levels to all clients, Attorney Firms, and internal team members
  • Understand and manage legal processes for bankruptcy and foreclosure files in various states
  • Ensure compliance with servicing agreements, investor requirements, federal and state laws
  • Stay informed of industry changes related to servicing activities
  • Prepare reports and attend aged asset calls with Attorney Firms
  • Conduct quarterly calls or as needed with firms to discuss issues and trends (bidirectional conversation), with results disseminated to default Management
  • Organize and conduct monthly and quarterly conference calls with Selene Management members
  • Prepare and send communications to Attorney Firms on demand
  • Assist business leaders with Attorney Firms non-performance issues, manage the Performance Improvement Plan process, recommend remedies such as eliminating firm usage, and track/document resolutions
  • Assist Vendor Management Oversight (VMO) as needed
  • Participate in Attorney Firms audits
  • Ensure attorney scorecards are generated and reviewed for distribution no later than the 15th of each month
  • Manage and provide responses to Attorney Firms’ inquiries
  • Manage Attorney scorecard rebuttal process
  • Conduct ad hoc Attorney Firms surveys for state regulations, document responses, and provide in consumable/readable format
