Requirements

  • Preferably 3-6 years of understanding the intricacies of the loans’ market, real assets, project finance and documentation driven transactions
  • Familiarity with the banking and investment management industry (experience with credit strategies, registered funds, financial institutions, separate accounts and various types of investors preferred)
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Fluency in English language is required, German language would be beneficial
  • Proficient in a high pace environment with large volume and high-risk transactions with a low tolerance for error
  • Works independently or in a global team environment and actively seek additional responsibilities
  • Highly proficient in Excel; knowledge of loan centric systems a plus
  • Outstanding academic achievement, broad based work experience, and demonstrated leadership experience
  • Financial degree required

  • Proficiency of vendor systems supporting loans, such as Loan IQ, WSO, Sentry, Geneva, etc

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate product and functional knowledge of project finance, structured credit, real assets, and loan syndications in order to communicate with the business, agents, borrowers, and counterparties
  • Support servicing activity of each investment including funding and documentation matters
  • Investigate and resolve cash, position, and transactional issues timely
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all deal related documentation to ensure controls are in place and guidelines are adhered to
  • Collaborate closely with Administrative Agents, Borrowers and Legal with regards to KYC documentation, regulation requirements, tax, including administrative details
  • Understand the maintenance and distribution of loan documentation including of private and public amendments/restructures and voting requirements with settled and trade date positions
  • Participate in the review of the daily/weekly reports and metrics provided to management and the business to highlight status of positions, defaults, and risks
  • Participate in team projects to streamline and automate processes and tools to improve efficiency and controls
