Requirements

  • Ability to design, develop, and support loss forecasting framework/methodologies/tools for consumer auto portfolios
  • Capability to work across business lines to define and build risk-based analytical datasets
  • Proficiency in performing data analysis and delivering analytical solutions aligned with strategic initiatives and risk planning
  • Skills in developing forecast methodologies/tools and forecasting gross loss and recoveries
  • Experience with data extraction, quantitative/predictive analysis, risk identification, and remediation
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards to minimize risk and ensure adherence to company/legal standards
  • Ability to manage policy/standard definition, monitoring implementation, and ensure harmonization/consistency of risk policies
  • Competence in monitoring/managing models, risk/exposure, and compliance with company policies
  • Skills in identifying, managing, and reporting on company risk areas
  • Ability to evaluate adequacy/effectiveness of data, document retention, and monitor systems

Responsibilities

  • Support loss forecasting methodologies design, development, and ongoing support
  • Provide thoughtful risk-based analysis to enhance portfolio management, reporting functionality, and automation of processes
  • Recommend formatting improvements to current reporting processes
  • Prepare and analyze extensive data for timely and accurate managerial reporting, budgeting, planning, internal/external audits, and ad hoc requests
  • Create and maintain various dashboards to report on metrics and results
  • Perform extensive data analysis including trends, insights on drivers, variance analysis, data profiling, and data quality analysis
  • Mine and analyze data from internal and external databases to drive optimization and process improvements
  • Facilitate effective communications among business lines and leadership to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations, and requirements
  • Collaborate with Risk Analytics subject matter experts to identify valuable practices and develop strategies to implement and track
  • Develop effective predictive tools, processes, and templates to enable efficient delivery of services
