Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in electronics work environment, or Associate degree with 1 year of experience, or Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university or college
  • Familiarity and experience working in testing embedded systems
  • Exposure to the use of RF instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and channel emulators
  • Must be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen); stricter U.S. Citizen ONLY requirements may apply for some Engineering or R&D roles
  • Successful clearance of a background check
  • Ability to perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves
  • Ability to kneel or squat to access lower shelves
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments
  • Ability to walk/move in the labs
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments for demos, with occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens

Responsibilities

  • Report to the R&D Director, Integration and Test
  • Be part of the R&D team that develops testing infrastructure
  • Perform comprehensive testing, vetting, and demonstration of Silvus’ MANET radios and other wireless products and technologies under development
  • Work 100% onsite Monday through Friday at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA
