Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a content, copywriting, or production-related role (brand studio, agency, or media company preferred)
  • Proven writing ability with a portfolio of brand, social, or editorial work that reflects clarity, creativity, and voice
  • A strong grasp of visual and video storytelling fundamentals
  • Experience coordinating on-the-ground production, inclusive of interviews, visual assets and experiential activations
  • Comfort working with scripts, storyboards, outlines, timelines and creative briefs
  • Passion for digital media, audience-first content, and Smart Brevity®
  • Project and time management skills to enable the smooth flow of production deliverables for alignment and approval
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Write smart, succinct copy for video scripts, social captions, and digital brand storytelling aligned with Axios' voice
  • Assist in producing short-form video, social and experiential content from ideation through post-production
  • Help develop storytelling frameworks and angles that support branded content objectives
  • Partner with creative leads, producers, designers, editors and project management collaborators to ensure deliverables are executed with consistency and quality
  • Contribute ideas and cultural insights to brainstorms and pitch processes that inform campaign concepts
  • Guide in-person production of experiential activations and expert interviews
