Responsibilities

Manages procedures and team workload, carries out supervisory duties, and ensures execution of the standard and global quote process
Writes, maintains, and ensures adoption of standard quote operating procedures (SOPs)
Verifies adoption of SOPs to collect information for improvement, training, and development
Interviews and trains new employees
Sets team priorities and goals
Participates in talent development and completion of performance appraisals
Involved in salary and merit discussions as well as disciplinary actions
Performs data entry of customer quotes into Arrow's IQ and Sales Desktop system, including data manipulation and advanced Excel formatting
Notes and learns strategic nuances for specific accounts to assist SMR in determining quote strategy
Monitors quote process daily to advise and remind SMRs of quote response deadlines
Manages and maintains quote log
Manages coordination and execution of strategic/global customer quotes
Coordinates and supervises daily activities of business or technical support or production team
Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors
Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations
