Requirements

  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent (certifications and coursework in specific areas of HR expertise preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience as an HR professional or HR consultant across a number of LatAm countries (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile), working for a global firm
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, and partner regionally and globally to facilitate these improvements
  • Demonstrated reporting and analytical skills, fluency with MS Office and ability to summarize information tailored to different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
  • Strong project management skills with ability to anticipate and hit deadlines related to client deliverables
  • Native in Spanish and fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
  • Fast learner, proactive, agile and adaptable with ability to function in a fast changing, global environment

Responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with HR Operational teams, Centers of Excellence as well as HRBPs to scale and centralize processes while ensuring compliance, leading ongoing work to address process gaps and issues for BlackRock LatAm (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile)
  • Serve as point of escalation to manage local language operational deliverables such as referencing, local language required documents, local regulatory reporting (leveraging Workday reporting), letter and contract review, and 2nd level support for local HR requests
  • Act as point of contact for local authorities for execution of external obligations, working closely with partners in HR Operations such as Reward Operations, Benefits and Payroll
  • Assist America’s Operations team in triaging local operational issues
  • Partner with BlackRock Immigration (and external visa counsel) on the smooth management of visas for the US and the Region to ensure a good leader and employee experience
  • On an ongoing basis, check documents for accuracy (such as contracts of employment) to ensure accuracy
