Requirements

  • Ability to perform heavy work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects
  • Ability to travel 100%, Monday-Friday, field-based work
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and install equipment according to complex wire diagrams and CAD drawings
  • Ability to understand infrastructure, electrical, and network requirements of installable equipment
  • Ability to learn and understand basic Internet Protocol (IP) and computer networking requirements as related to integration products
  • Ability to understand and implement identical installation and integration practices at different locations for consistency and serviceability
  • Ability to coordinate and book travel arrangements based on job location per company guidance
  • Completion of training to ensure proper PPE utilization
  • Adherence to all safety policies and standards from customer facilities and company

Responsibilities

  • Confirm site readiness of pre-installation requirements and infrastructure; perform detailed product inventory of installable equipment; communicate issues to internal project team and follow up for resolution
  • Install surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems, associated cabling for video signals, and ancillary equipment (room cameras, video monitors, etc.) per quality, safety, state, industry, and international standards
  • Program, test, and inspect all video integration sources according to design specifications and quality/safety standards
  • Perform functional and quality checks of installable equipment and document prior to project sign-off
  • Troubleshoot, determine root cause of failures, diagnose, and repair equipment per quality guidelines and procedures; test for proper operation and quality output
  • Document and maintain accurate records of equipment installation and associated activities
  • Complete daily update reports and other administrative responsibilities timely and accurately; provide project updates to stakeholders; coordinate with Quality for regulatory/operational compliance
  • Coordinate with internal project team to communicate infrastructure, electrical, and network expectations to customers and contractors; coordinate requisite support
  • Manage daily schedule for timely arrival and completion of installation activities
  • Maintain project stakeholder relationships, communicate progress updates, and provide basic operational training to customers
  • Manage and maintain inventory of assigned tools and equipment
  • Respond to internal/external customer inquiries and service requests; communicate project status and provide timely updates
  • Build relationships with internal/external business partners for outstanding customer service; communicate lessons learned and feedback to improve processes
