1 - 3 years of relevant experience with an outsourcing or Global service organization (Procurement/Sourcing domain preferred)
English (written and spoken)
Japanese (must be able to read, write, speak and listen)

Responsibilities

Create/maintain Alcon 3rd party vendor master data in the operating systems
Validate new ticket requests for data completeness
Review suppliers to be added to the database for duplication
Obtain approval for supplier to be added, modified or deleted per SOP
Capture supplier set-up, maintenance, additions/deletions/updates in the system's audit trail
Follow SOP to capture data in respective master data tools
Coordinate with requestor to confirm new supplier requests align with Local & Global procurement procedures
Process requests to cleanse and edit existing supplier data
Respond to internal inquiries related to vendor master data
Support transitions and knowledge transfer
Provide operational oversight with customer focus, including handling exceptions
Coordinate with local teams & business functions for seamless service
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes
Support measurement and delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets
Proactively challenge the Status Quo with fact-based recommendations
Prepare & provide periodic KPI reporting
Support team lead for process improvements and system enhancements
Train internal business users on systems/tools for vendor master data
Provide ad-hoc reporting support as per business requirements
Liaise with TL and support for special projects
Adhere to agreed SOP with no deviations
Ensure all processes, policies & procedures are clearly defined and documented
Promote a strong control environment, follow up on audit issues, and implement corrective measures
