Requirements

Candidates must possess an Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with VBA and Git experience preferred, and familiarity with Aladdin is advantageous. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a technical or finance function is required, demonstrating a strong interest in financial markets and a proven track record in designing, building, and implementing models and platforms, as well as developing strategies using automated, statistical, and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

The Associate will develop financial resource analytics to enhance transparency, efficiency, and optimization across products and counterparties, continuously improve scalable processes for financing activities, collaborate with stakeholders to understand market dynamics, participate in reviewing structural solutions to increase capacity, build financial modeling capabilities for resource consumption, stay abreast of regulatory changes and provide commentary to the team, collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed generative AI, perform data analysis, research emerging technologies, and work with investment teams to source financing liquidity across various strategies. They will also represent BlackRock’s interests in interactions with financing counterparties and monitor financing rates.
