Requirements

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 7 years' commercial experience working within an ecommerce business (marketplace experience preferable but not required)
  • People management experience, comfortable leading a team
  • Analytical and able to make sense of data

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of Pattern brand partner go-to-market strategies across platforms including Amazon, Walmart.com, eBay, and others
  • Lead strategic accounts to grow the business both locally and globally
  • Lead key projects across the business to step change operations and processes, driving efficiencies and best practices
  • Provide leadership to 4-6 Senior Ecommerce Managers and Digital Advertising Strategists
  • Drive revenue growth on marketplaces through a data-driven approach across a portfolio of brands via B2B and D2C marketplaces
  • Ensure a clear activity plan is in place to achieve and surpass budget targets, including promotional planning, seasonal phasing, NPD launches, and advertising campaigns
  • Define the strategy and joint business plan with each brand to create mutually beneficial sales plans that grow market share
  • Proactively manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations across the end-to-end value chain, leading by example by getting into the details and seeking opportunities to drive sales and remove defects
  • Ensure brands are represented brilliantly across marketplaces through best-in-class product content, including images, enhanced content, keywords, local language translation, and advertising campaigns
  • Conduct regular analysis of brand performance using multiple data sources and tools to continuously optimize performance across all touch points
  • Manage inventory through accurate forecasting across key stakeholders, targeting a 95% in-stock rate
  • Work with the internal digital marketing team to build and manage advertising budgets to strategically grow brands across marketplace platforms
