Candidates must possess 12+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or operations management, or hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 8+ years of Cybersecurity experience and experience managing a team of 10+ people. Demonstrated experience in an operations-focused role, excellent prioritization and project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences are also required. Experience with process improvement, Lilly Computer Systems Quality validation, and program/project management processes is preferred. Some international travel may be required.
The Associate Director of Global Cyber Defense Operations will oversee all tactical operations for the GCDO team, including Attack Surface Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Detection and Automation Operations, Cyber Defense Readiness, External Threat Response, and Insider Threat Response. This includes monitoring, detection, analysis, investigation, and response to cybersecurity events and incidents, reducing the enterprise attack surface, developing and consuming threat intelligence, integrating initiatives, managing SecOps and DevOps for GCDO capabilities, and monitoring/analyzing internal workforce cybersecurity events. Key deliverables include supporting GCDO business operations, financial management, content management, administrative management of the GCDO Analyst pool, vendor management, onboarding/training, work/capacity management, personnel assignment, fostering cultural maturity and team cohesiveness, and coaching professional growth.
