  • Extensive experience concepting, creatively directing, writing copy and producing major marketing, communication or advertising campaigns, ideally from an agency or brand-side advertising background
  • Work grounded in big, bold, original ideas, executed with impeccable craft and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong at functional body copy — product messaging, web content, retail copy, and translating complex information into clear, compelling narratives
  • Produced work in various areas including branding, tone of voice, conceptual campaigns, advertising, social media, product launches, film, retail, websites and DMs
  • Passionate about creating excellent writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring
  • Used to working proactively in a creative and dynamic environment; organised with exceptional attention to detail, able to interrogate briefs and do your own research to present the most compelling and impactful creative solution
  • Eye for great writing and the ability to create a powerful story through the work
  • Brilliant, multi-skilled English writer — loves coming up with clever, concise headlines, crafting well-honed paragraphs of body copy or scripts for social animations
  • Strategic writer — understands hierarchy in messaging, organises and structures multiple strands of information into cohesive and compelling narratives, translates complex technical language into easy-to-understand copy
  • Passionate about Apple products and the brand

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with ACD/Art Directors/other team members to concept ideas and produce quality work for the Apple brand and products
  • Presents work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and Apple executives
  • Works across subject areas to integrate strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising and new mediums of communication
  • Works with project managers and creative directors to ensure schedules are accurate and realistic, and deadlines are met
  • Helps mentor and develop more junior creative team members
