Requirements

  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Life Sciences from a premier institute
  • 2+ years of experience within Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology/ Consulting/ Professional Services Outsourcing company
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in one or more practice areas
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to communicate with different layers in the organization

Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
  • Source information based on specific client requirements through secondary research and IQVIA data sources
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative data and present the analysis in a structured manner; bring value-added insights to the clients
  • Undertake market analysis to include details on market characteristics (market size and growth, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness) and competitor characteristics (product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, sales force activities, pricing analysis)
  • Deliver high quality, client-ready output with minimal supervision; identify risks/issues and escalate to the project leads in a timely manner
  • Understand and organize own and others’ activities within project plan; track progress of own and others’ deliverables, anticipate obstacles and manage execution to deliver materials in advance
  • Be flexible to receive scope adaptation and contingency plans; guide others in best practices of tracking own work, being proactive in raising issues, and adapting to changes in scope
  • Meet all corporate obligations (e.g. submitting timecards, completing all training on time) for self and guide others
  • Look for opportunities to make changes and question conventional work methods; be prepared to “try out” different solutions or take an unorthodox approach; actively participate in idea generation
  • Identify changes which will improve performance in own and teams’ work
  • Apply experience and knowledge to identify where modifications to existing approaches are warranted by breaking down the problem and applying knowledge of what has worked versus not worked in the past
  • Benchmark proven methodologies (from within and outside of IQVIA) and question whether those methodologies are applicable or if they can be enhanced for implementation at IQVIA
  • Present confidently internally and listen to and respond effectively to issues and concerns
  • Understand when to reference past examples and know where to locate them (e.g., PPT image bank, previous presentations); active contribution during meetings
