Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing an advanced degree in Engineering, Geography, Software, or a Science-related field. Required skills include Python or equivalent software development experience, a data-driven mindset with data analysis proficiency, sound SQL skills, and familiarity with git/version control. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter comfortable in dynamic environments and capable of cross-team collaboration. Familiarity with automation tools like Jenkins, Bash, and Git, data visualization platforms such as Looker Studio, OMNI, or CARTO, and geospatial software like QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, or libraries such as Shapely and GeoPandas are advantageous. An understanding of satellite imagery and remote sensing is also beneficial. This position requires the ability to access export-controlled information without additional licensing.
The Associate, Collection Planning will support the Collection Planning team's daily operations, including monitoring collection performance and orders. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, preparing geospatial data, maps, and dashboards, and maintaining and automating operational tools. The role also involves proactively improving existing processes.
