Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field
1-4 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, and Project Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask across several different assignments
Ability to work effectively and build relationships across a matrix structure and with a diverse management team
Proficiency with Office 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneDrive, and Teams
Knowledge in business intelligence analytical tools (e.g., Anaplan, Smartview, IBM Cognos BI preferred)
Responsibilities
Support completion of Northern Trust's annual capital plan and resolution plan
Assist in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements around capital adequacy and compliance on risk and controls
Prepare a range of financial analyses with both internal and external data, focusing on capital adequacy and management, including presentations to Committees, Management Teams, and the Board of Directors
Assist in monitoring conceptual design, assumptions, and performance of qualitative projection methodologies utilized for capital adequacy assessments
Address issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations
