Candidates must have extensive experience in data analytics with advanced SQL knowledge, demonstrating proficiency in writing performant SQL queries. Strong data visualization skills using BI tools like Tableau or Looker are essential, along with excellent communication abilities to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical audiences. The role requires the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and prioritize work effectively. Experience with Python, Git, dbt, Looker, or cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is considered a plus. A self-starter attitude with initiative in identifying opportunities and solving problems is also required.
The Associate Analytics Engineer will enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions by surfacing critical data through a self-service analytics platform. This involves owning the end-to-end creation of data products, including designing and implementing ELT jobs and building reports. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of the analytics platform by writing high-quality code, implementing tests, and automating processes. The role also involves partnering with stakeholders across Product Management, Commercial, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to propose and implement bespoke analytics solutions for their business and technical challenges. Additionally, the engineer will educate data users on tools and data assets to promote self-serve analytics.
