Responsibilities
Analyze project data and report on the performance of the Transmission Organization
Ensure timely and efficient monitoring and analysis of project costs, trends, and schedules for the capital program
Produce complex reports and analyses in support of project initiating, planning, executing, controlling, compliance, and close-out initiatives
Work closely with functional departments (Project Management, Investment Planning, Operations, Contract Administration, Procurement, Materials) to ensure consistency of project budgets and schedules with corporate goals and strategies
Collaborate with Investment Planning on cost management at project and program levels, including cost tracking, forecasting, reporting CAPEX & PIS, and variance analysis
Track Project Management compliance with procedures regarding Key Project Decision Documents, record management, and quality control protocols
Apply project analytics to project data to describe, predict, and improve business performance; create reports to recommend actions or guide decision-making for capital program management performance improvement
Ensure accuracy of all cost information, including proper coding and allocation to project budgets
Create required accounting and project cost variances reports
Monitor and report on project costs and commitment to budget and forecast
Review, evaluate, and report on trends and their impact on project costs or in-service dates
Assess progress measurement and develop/update progress charts for reporting
Create and maintain project level KPIs and project statistics reports
Establish new reporting formats and templates in compliance with company and external stakeholder requirements
Develop, maintain, and report key Project Management metrics including schedule performance, risk management, project productivity, change order management, and others to drive efficiency and transparency
