Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting/Law/Business
- English is desirable
- SAP knowledge is desirable
- 4-6 years of tax experience either in-house or in public accounting firms
- Strong knowledge in indirect taxes (Direct taxes experience is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Elaborate/review of indirect tax deliverables (computations and tax returns)
- Review the taxes reconciliation to ensure they are accurately prepared
- Liaise with external advisors (BPO and auditors)
- Interface with multiple areas to support new businesses in addition to ensuring tax compliance
- Develop and implement tax strategies/policies to reduce exposures
- Monitor/analyze the tax legislation related to indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, withholding tax etc)
- Participate on the tax reform implementation
