Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers
  • Guide product development by detailing software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and support trade-off discussions and negotiations
  • Ensure product viability and alignment with business goals by monitoring performance, serving as the voice of the customer, and ensuring a high-quality user experience
  • Participate in sprint planning, support feature refinement, and act as a subject matter expert within the organization for assigned products or product lines
  • Oversee operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives
  • Lead and supervise a team of professionals, typically entry-level and career-level staff
  • Influence decisions regarding hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates
