Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom walkthroughs and formal evaluations using AMS standardized tools
  • Provide coaching and actionable feedback to teachers to strengthen instructional practices
  • Support professional development, PLCs, and instructional planning aligned to AMS curriculum and state standards
  • Analyze academic data to monitor scholar progress and support intervention and growth strategies
  • Help maintain strong school-wide systems, routines, and expectations
  • Support discipline systems in alignment with AMS policies and restorative practices
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Assist with operational needs including supervision, scheduling, safety drills, and event coordination
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and supporting instructional staff throughout the year
  • Model professionalism, communication, accountability, and a student-first mindset
