Account Manager III - Microbiology

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field, and have at least one year of laboratory experience is preferred. They must demonstrate the ability to apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and aseptic technique, along with knowledge of Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) requirements and the ability to identify various pathogens such as Salmonella, Cronobacter, E. coli, and Staph aureus.
The Assistant Microbiologist I will be responsible for adequately displaying the knowledge and ability to carry out the sampling of Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) requirements, applying GMP and aseptic technique in microbiological sampling, performing testing functions of various pathogens, utilizing aseptic technique in a controlled environment, employing varying plating techniques to identify organisms, learning quality system items to assist with batch release and quality assurance, and working collaboratively with fellow technicians while maintaining motivation and clear communication.
