Responsibilities

Lead supplier development strategy by collaborating with vendor development team
Develop quality metrics to monitor supplier quality performance
Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets required standards
Perform supplier process validation audits as per IATF 16949 or VDA6.3 standards
Conduct 'Supplier Quality meet' workshops to enforce quality requirements
Team up with suppliers on value enhancement opportunities in manufacturing processes
Review supplier manufacturing capabilities in line with BorgWarner supplier quality manual
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to refine product/component specifications to improve supplier process capability
Achieve Supplier PPM targets with Zero defect mindset
Review supplier performance scorecard with plant and supplier leadership teams
Conduct benchmarking studies at suppliers and ensure horizontal deployment across the value chain
