Requirements

Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is highly preferred
1 - 3 years experience working in Housekeeping, Maintenance or similar hospitality Operations position
Prior experience in supervisory or management level position in a similar industry
Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms
Reliable personal transportation is essential due to frequent travel between worksites
Dependable and prepared, showing up on time and ready to go
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
Comfortable talking to people—online or in person—and able to share information in a clear, thoughtful way that represents the company positively

Responsibilities

Assist Housekeeping Manager in leading and developing a team of Housekeepers through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including regular one-on-one meetings and annual evaluations
Oversee daily operations and workflow management to optimize team productivity and meet departmental objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements
Support the Housekeeping Manager in ensuring proper staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity
Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication, innovation, and employee engagement, addressing team conflicts constructively and timely
Assist in the recruiting process with interviewing, selection, and onboarding new team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Assist in controlling payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability
Communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings
Participate in daily operations including cleaning and inspecting of units to maintain standards
Identify and report any maintenance related problems to the Maintenance and/or local Operations team
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management
Other duties as assigned
