Requirements

  • Ideally hold a diploma in Hospitality/Restaurant management
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Assistant(e)/Adjoint(e) Restaurant
  • Experience in table service with knowledge of semi-gastronomic or gastronomic service establishments (indispensable)
  • Experience in 4-star hotels and/or Michelin-starred restaurants (desired)
  • French level C1 (advanced)
  • English level B2 (intermediate)
  • Knowledge of service standards (indispensable)
  • Mastery of cash register processes and HACCP standards (indispensable)
  • Flexibility in days and working hours (3pm to 1am) based on service needs
  • Excellence in service and customer satisfaction as top priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team: organize, monitor, and control team work through on-site presence and ongoing dialogue
  • Instill daily motivation in collaborators in close collaboration with the manager
  • Ensure training and development of team members through regular coaching and transmit technical and behavioral expertise
  • Act as the management relay to teams and ensure good communication of messages from management
  • Guarantee and enforce procedures and quality standards: speed, welcome service, expected service quality, hygiene, and safety rules
  • Handle daily departmental operations (administrative and operational) and adapt them to meet customer needs
  • Alert in real-time to performance deviations against predefined productivity objectives with relevant services (finance, optimization, quality, etc.)
  • Conduct individual interviews (QCs) and team recaps
  • Take corrective actions to ensure service/product quality and daily customer satisfaction
  • Participate in sector activity projects
