Requirements

  • Experienced in multifamily apartment community management
  • Proficiency in Yardi system for data entry, reports, and records management
  • Strong communication skills for resident interactions and collections
  • Knowledge of lease agreements, compliance with company and government policies
  • Ability to maintain accurate records (rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/out schedules)
  • Capability to handle evictions, rent increases, and collections processes
  • Availability for showing apartments, including weekends (Saturdays only)
  • Sound judgment on expenditures and supplier partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Manager in maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and entering data into Yardi system
  • Submit reports on a timely basis
  • Support day-to-day operations at the assigned community
  • Maintain communications with Supervisor
  • Review move-in, move-out, and renewal documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring timely Yardi entry
  • Ensure resident files are properly maintained
  • Verify accuracy of all reports and ledgers in Yardi
  • Assist with daily and month-end reports, including rent collection, late fees, and delinquency management
  • Maintain minimal delinquency rate through timely rent and fee collection
  • Monitor and collect outstanding resident balances, sending new cases to collections agency timely
  • Submit resident notices (3-day, legal, delinquency, small balance, etc.) on time
  • Administer rent increases accurately and timely per property budgets
  • Oversee timely enforcement of evictions
  • Monitor resident satisfaction via follow-up calls, emails, or meetings
  • Process receivables in Yardi and bank, verifying deposit accuracy
  • Exercise judgment on community expenditures, knowing best suppliers for cost, quality, and service
  • Help ensure physical well-being and curb appeal of the community
  • Maintain high occupancy and lease apartments as needed
  • Show and demonstrate available apartments, including Open Houses, during business hours and Saturdays
