Requirements
- Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
- May require yearly certification for a forklift license
- In Florida, must obtain a qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight (BJ’s covers cost and training)

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance, particularly for directly managed departments (preparing for Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience tracks)
- Ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures
- Maintain a positive member service experience
- Uphold Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standard club conditions
- Lead audit compliance efforts
- Drive collaboration with Business Partners (BPs)
- Oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence
- Develop talent and foster a culture of growth through collaboration, coaching, and empowerment
- Display leadership by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and building inclusive team environments
- Support team member engagement by teaching, coaching, leading, and ensuring learning in the flow of work
- Promote a values-based culture of strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and inclusion
- Create a safe and collaborative work environment (as described)
