Requirements
Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
May require yearly certification for a forklift license
In Florida, must obtain a qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight (BJ’s covers cost and training)
Strong business acumen through strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance, particularly for directly managed departments (preparing for Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience tracks)
Ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures
Maintain a positive member service experience
Uphold Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standard club conditions
Lead audit compliance efforts
Drive collaboration with Business Partners (BPs)
Oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence
Develop talent and foster a culture of growth through collaboration, coaching, and empowerment
Display leadership by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and building inclusive team environments
Support team member engagement by teaching, coaching, leading, and ensuring learning in the flow of work
Promote a values-based culture of strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and inclusion
