Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a U.S. Citizen residing within the United States, possessing a Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of experience or a Master’s degree plus 5+ years of experience in AI Governance, Risk Management, or Policy Development, and demonstrating expertise in AI risk frameworks, compliance regulations, and security best practices. AWS certifications are highly preferred, with AI/ML and SEC experience being a plus, and familiarity with AI model transparency, bias mitigation, and ethical AI implementation is also required. Strong background in DoD AI policies and interagency governance structures is essential.

Responsibilities

This role involves developing and implementing AI governance frameworks aligned with industry and DoD policies, conducting market research on AI governance best practices to ensure compliance with evolving regulations, providing risk management strategies for AI model deployment and data security, collaborating with legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to enforce AI governance policies, and monitoring AI model lifecycle risks to ensure transparency, accountability, and security.
