Position: Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning (AI/ML) Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI governance frameworks aligned with industry and DoD policies.
  • Conduct market research on AI governance best practices, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Provide risk management strategies for AI model deployment and data security.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to enforce AI governance policies.
  • Monitor AI model lifecycle risks, ensuring transparency, accountability, and security.

Qualifications

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside within the United States.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of experience, or Master’s degree plus 5+ years of experience in AI Governance, Risk Management, or Policy Development.
  • Certifications: AWS certifications highly preferred; AI/ML and SEC experience is a plus.
  • Expertise:
    • AI risk frameworks
    • Compliance regulations
    • Security best practices
    • AI model transparency
    • Bias mitigation
    • Ethical AI implementation
  • Experience: Strong background in DoD AI policies and interagency governance structures.
