Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5-8 years of relevant experience in AI/ML/Generative AI
12+ years of total work experience, with proven project and team leadership
Expertise in GenAI technologies: RAG, Vector DBs, LangChain, Hugging Face, and Agentic AI
Proficiency in core ML techniques (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, reinforcement learning) and NLP with Transformer-based architectures (e.g., BERT, RNNs, CNNs, text classification)
Strong programming skills in Python
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS services (Sagemaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and related services)
Strong frameworks experience: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
Preferred: Experience defining technical strategy for AI/ML projects
Preferred: Background in the insurance domain
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members
Preferred: Proven success in managing AI/ML initiatives end-to-end

Responsibilities

Design and implement ML models: supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
Build GenAI solutions using RAG, Vector Databases, LangChain, Hugging Face, and Agentic AI frameworks
Leverage frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn for model development
Apply advanced NLP techniques: text classification, RNNs, CNNs, and Transformer-based models (e.g., BERT)
Deliver robust end-to-end solutions: data preprocessing, feature engineering, model deployment, and monitoring
Lead and mentor data scientists and ML engineers
Set technical direction aligned with business strategy
Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning
Collaborate cross-functionally to embed AI/ML into business products and processes
Offer strategic insights to stakeholders at all levels
Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
