Lucidya is seeking a visionary Art Director with a specialization in Motion Design to lead our motion design efforts. This role is central to our marketing engine, responsible for shaping Lucidya's visual identity and bringing our brand to life through compelling motion storytelling. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end 2D motion design projects, including explainer videos, product showcases, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
  • Conceptualize, storyboard, animate, and collaborate with sound artists to create immersive multimedia experiences.
  • Transform static assets into dynamic, branded visuals in partnership with illustrators and graphic designers.
  • Evolve Lucidya’s visual identity, making motion a core component of brand communication.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering world-class creative at speed.
  • Build and maintain an animation style guide within the first six months.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Brainstorming with copywriters, designers, and marketers on campaign briefs.
  • Creating high-impact motion assets for organic and paid campaigns.
  • Refreshing and optimizing existing visual assets.
  • Actively contributing to creative strategy and storytelling discussions.
  • Driving visual consistency across all marketing channels.

Requirements

What Makes You a Perfect Fit

  • 5–7 years of experience in motion design, preferably within SaaS/B2B tech storytelling.
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.
  • Arabic fluency or significant experience designing for Arabic audiences.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D motion design mastery (Behance or equivalent required).
  • Comfortable working in both startup agility and multinational structures.
  • A growth mindset: ambitious, curious, and unafraid to challenge the norm.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with sound design direction.

Non-Negotiables

  • Exceptional 2D motion design skills with a proven portfolio.
  • Arabic fluency or extensive experience designing for Arabic-speaking audiences.
  • SaaS/B2B tech storytelling experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality creative work quickly.
