Requirements

  • Field-based role available in all cities within Alabama (or nearby areas like Pensacola, FL)
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in Immunology
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment to execute company brand strategy and tactics
  • Knowledge of local, regional, and national payer policies, reimbursement regulations, and processes (e.g., eligibility verification, pre-authorization, billing, coding, claims, appeals)
  • Understanding of infusion processes, including efficiency practices, reconstitution, admixture, administration, monitoring, and adverse event management/reporting
  • Experience in total account management, leveraging resources, and collaborating with business partners

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate identified new and existing patients have access to pharmaceutical products, minimizing pre and post needle attrition
  • Ensure a mix of viable sites of care are available in the local marketplace
  • Educate practices on appropriate efficiency practices to infuse pharmaceutical products and remain viable
  • Update practices on key private and public payer changes that impact the infusion process
  • Ensure staff in infusion clinics are trained using company-approved materials to deliver products safely and efficiently
  • Educate providers on patient assistance programs to assist patients financially
  • Execute the company's brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment, securing and preserving patient access in optimal sites of care
  • Approach customers from a total account management perspective, leveraging resources, collaborating with business partners, and articulating the value proposition
  • Assist sales force members (e.g., Immunology Specialists, District Managers) in product promotion, including access, pull-through, and reimbursement
  • Mentor doctors and staff on developing and implementing In-Office Infusion programs, covering operations management, scheduling, staffing, pre-authorization, reimbursement, capacity management, inventory management, and infusion efficiencies
  • Train clinical staff on technical aspects of infusing products, including reconstitution, admixture, administration, monitoring, and adverse event management/reporting
  • Serve as a resource to territory accounts and JJIM staff regarding payer policies, reimbursement regulations, and processes
