Requirements
- Accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and follow up on non-standard situations
- Effective interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions
- Prepare monthly and quarterly operational performance reports
- Assist the Area Controller in ensuring proper internal controls
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze financial statements
- May assist in the management of accounting personnel
- Support the Area Controller during the annual budget and interim forecasting process
- Support the accounting aspects of capital expenditures, transfers, and retirements
- Assist with periodic financial audits
- Provide support and respond to information requests from various departments
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
